FAQS
As long as your content does not violate Community Guidelines, you are welcome to stream anything you'd like. If you schedule an overview call with us, you'll learn some of the Community Guidelines in that exploratory call and if accepted to the Group, you will have a full Community Guidelines call once you're onboarded.
Success on live stream apps rely on consistency.
Casual streamers average 10 days a month and completing 20 hours in that month. Successful streamers average 15 days a month and 40 hours. Streamers who see high earning are typically streaming 20 days a month and 60+ hours in that same month. Full time streamers may stream upwards of 100 hours.
To avoid going inactive, we encourage streamers to stream a minimum of 7 days and 15 hours in the first month of joining.
All talent should have the following items for a successful start with us:
1. A tripod to hold your phone.
2. Lighting (ring light or other photography lighting).
3. A backdrop (for actors, a gray or soft blue is recommended, avoid white and black). For streamers, any backdrop will work including your own wall, living room or kitchen (ensure it is devoid of clutter).
Successful talent will produce high quality videos and live streams by being well lit, having a nice "set" or nice "scene," that is clean, clear of debris/clutter and quiet. It is understandable if you have the occasional dog barking while live or a child needing attention, but the more you can stream in quiet, the more attractive you stream may be to viewers.
Live hosts receive gifts from viewers, or viewer donations. Similar to receiving tips, live hosts are rewarded with digital gifts (tips) that have a monetary value associated with them. When live hosts receive gifts, the monetary value of those gifts goes into your balance and collects until the payout day. On TikTok, payouts are weekly. On Favorited, you can cash out daily.
The sky is really the limit here. While we are not authorized to promise any earnings, creators can make as little as $1 or even tens of thousands of dollars. We do have creators on our team who are on both ends of the spectrum. You can do a quick search on TikTok or google for: What is a live pro and how much do they earn? This will give you an ideal of very high earning potentials, but is not a representation, necessarily, of average earners. We are happy to share more about this in the exploratory call if you should register for one.
For Live Streamers:
There is no agency fee to live stream with us. Creators keep any earnings they receive from viewers at the split designated by the app.
For Actors:
The agency fee is typically industry standard - 20% for non-union opportunities and the going SAG rate for union opportunities.
For Live Streamers:
There is not a contract to stream on TikTok but there is an Agreement. These terms can change frequently with TikTok, so for the most up to date information, you may join our overview call.
For Actors:
We are non-exclusive and can work with you as long as you are not in an exclusive agreement with a talent agent in the same segment of the industry. Ex: You may have a dance agent that you're exclusive with for dance, but you do not have an acting agent. You can work with us in this scenario.
You are always welcome to work with any other agent while you're working with us.
For Live Streamers:
All communication is conducted through Discord once you have accepted the Agreement through the app. You may voice call, video call, text, or leave a voice recording (a voice note) for your coach. Your coach will also post announcements and tips in Discord for self study.
For Actors:
You will receive emails and alerts from the casting system. Your agent will text you if you have not responded to the alert in a timely manner.
For Live Streamers:
First, if you're new to our programs, you should attend an overview call that will cover the details mentioned in the FAQs in greater details. Then we will send you an application. Depending on your route, you may be required to audition. If you are familiar with our program, you may skip the call and go straight to the application found on our website.
For Actors:
We require a headshot and a resume if you have one (a professional one is fine if you do not have an acting resume yet). You may be required to audition if you do not have experience. Talent coming from our live stream program will most likely have the audition waived en lieu of live stream experience.
